HOW WE WORK
Relationship Discovery
We begin with a confidential, insight-led discussion to understand your needs whether you're a South African supplier looking to expand your market, or a buyer seeking competitive, verified products. This step ensures alignment on objectives and builds mutual trust from the outset.
Market Matchmaking
We identify relevant buyers or suppliers that align with your product, quality standards, and business goals. Our network spans multiple African trade corridors, supported by preferential trade agreements such as AfCFTA, SADC, and AGOA.
Risk Mitigation & Due Diligence
Where required, we facilitate due diligence checks on buyers or suppliers through trusted third-party financial institutions. This phase includes KYC (know your client), documentation review, and optional escrow or vetting services designed to reduce cross-border trade risk.
Engagement & Handover
At this stage, we provide detailed product specifications, pricing indications, minimum order quantities (MOQs), and white-label or private packaging options if applicable. This is where commercial interest is cultivated and the foundation for negotiations is set.
Samples & Material Review
If requested, samples can be arranged by the seller. We coordinate this process and relay all details, with samples issued at the discretion and cost of the seller. This allows buyers to validate quality before making a formal commitment.
Trade Enablement Support
Once both parties are aligned, we help bridge final discussions around terms, payment channels, shipping timelines, and compliance documentation. Where needed, we introduce vetted partners for freight, logistics, or financial facilitation.
Close-Out & Commission
Once a final purchase order is confirmed and the seller is ready to dispatch the goods, Silvaris issues a service invoice based on the agreed-upon commercial value. In most sectors, commission is invoiced upon shipping confirmation and proof of dispatch, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Long-Term Relationship Support
Our focus is on building durable trade relationships. We remain available for feedback, follow-on orders, and expanding product portfolios, always ensuring value for both buyer and seller.
